Marketing, lifelong learning, film and special achievement awards will be presented at the 2008 GSCA Awards Gala, which will be held at the International Conference and Trade Show in Jersey City on September 9-12, 2008. Criteria, submission templates, and deadlines for each award category can be found using the menus to the left.

- Best Original Soundtrack New This Year!
- Special Achievement in Film
Ballots for Best Film Produced Exclusively for Giant Screen Theaters, Best Film Produced Non-exclusively for Giant Screen Theaters, Best Cinematography, Best Sound Design, and Best Original Soundtrack will be sent to member key contacts in mid-May. The online submission form for Special Achievement in Film will be available in mid-May. Films are eligible for the GSCA Film Awards one year. If the release of a film (first playing of film in a public performance) falls within 60 days of the deadline for eligibility, the distributor has the option of allowing the film to be on the ballot for the current year or the following year.
