What to Pack
Poitiers and Paris weather in March can be unpredictable, cold and rainy one day and sunny the next. The average temperature in March is 45 degrees F/7 degrees C. Pack clothes you can wear in layers. Bring a jacket, light sweaters, and it might be a good idea to bring some gloves. March can be a wet month, too, so pack an umbrella or rain jacket. Attire at all GSCA events is business casual.

The train from Paris to Futuroscope leaves from the TGV station located in the lower level of Terminal 2 at Charles De Gaulle airport. If you haven’t booked a ticket already, you may do so here:

Group Transportation from Poitiers to Paris for Dome Day
Reservations must be made by March 14
GSCA has arranged group transportation via chartered bus and train from Poitiers to La Géode for Dome Day on March 22. Those who wish to return to Paris at the same time as the group may also book Dome Day transportation; however, there is no discount if you do not take the bus from the Paris train station to La Géode.
If you have made a reservation through GSCA, the GSCA staff will distribute your tickets on site in Poitiers. If you have not made your transportation reservation yet, please contact Tammy at tammy@giantscreencinema.com.
Please note: GSCA is unable to reserve tickets for the group after March 14.
THERE HAS BEEN A CHANGE IN THE TIME DOME DAY TRANSPORTATION WILL DEPART FROM THE PLAZA HOTEL. DETAILS WILL BE ANNOUNCED AS SOON AS THEY ARE CONFIRMED.
If you are staying at the Novotel Hotel, you will need to meet the group at the Plaza Hotel.
Since we are taking public train transportation from Poitiers to Paris, we will not be able to hold the chartered bus for latecomers. To do so would risk everyone missing the train. If you miss the chartered bus, it will be your responsibility to find alternate transportation to Paris.
Once the group arrives at the Paris Montparnasse train station, we will take a chartered bus to La Géode. If you are staying at the Ibis Hotel on the 22nd, GSCA is arranging for the bus to take luggage to the hotel. Luggage tags will be placed on the luggage and taken directly to the hotel upon arrival to La Geode. If you are staying at a different hotel, you will be able to stow your luggage at La Geode during Dome Day.
Optional Dinner Cruise on the Seine on March 22
Reservations must be made by March 14

Reservations for the Seine dinner cruise have closed.
The chartered bus will leave for the cruise from La Géode at 8:30 pm, with the cruise lasting from 9:30-11:30 pm. Taxis will be available at the boat dock after the cruise for you to get to your hotel.
If you are staying at the Ibis Hotel on the 22nd, GSCA is arranging for the bus to take luggage to the hotel. If you are staying at a different hotel, you may either take your luggage with you on the dinner cruise or book a taxi to have your luggage delivered to your hotel.
