Suspicious that Dumbledore is trying to usurp his power, the Minister for Magic appoints a new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher to keep an eye on Hogwarts. But Professor Dolores Umbridge is more hindrance than help in the fight against dark forces. Harry surreptitiously gathers students into "Dumbledore's Army" and helps them prepare for the battle that they will all eventually face.
