The Giant Screen Cinema Association (GSCA) is a vibrant international organization devoted to the business of producing, distributing, and exhibiting giant screen films. GSCA’s network includes more than 300 member organizations from over 30 countries representing theaters, producers, distributors, manufacturers, suppliers and others in the industry.
Members build strong business relationships, alliances, and partnerships in the giant screen marketplace to benefit of everyone in the industry. These relationships are cultivated in person at the highly attended and content-rich industry events and online via the robust website. Members also benefit from a variety of membership discounts and access to members-only portions of the GSCA website.
Industry Events
INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE AND TRADE SHOW AND FILM EXPO: Attending events organized by the GSCA is the best way to be continuously involved in the giant screen marketplace. Twice a year the association hosts major events in which the industry comes together to see film, learn best practices, meet with colleagues, and celebrate success. It is the most significant way to be engaged in the industry.
As a member you receive DISCOUNTED REGISTRATION FEES for these events. These events fill quickly as do the hotels that host them. As a member you have advanced notice of all events and receive the first opportunity to registration at discounted rates.
PRESENT AND PROMOTE BUSINESS: Present and promote products and services at the GSCA International Conference and Trade Show and Film Expo through sponsorship, exhibits and advertisements at special members-only rates.
PARTICIPATE AS AN EXPERT: Participate as an expert on a professional development panel at one of our conferences.
HOST A CONFERENCE: Bid to become the Conference Host for a GSCA International Conference and Trade Show or the GSCA Film Expo.
NETWORKING: Be included in the active network of the GSCA. Many new business partnerships, film deals, jobs, and films in development have been discussed and confirmed within the GSCA community.

GSCA DATABASE: Membership to the GSCA includes a free comprehensive listing for your company in the GSCA database as well as access to the online member directory.
THE BIG FRAME: Receive two complimentary copies of The Big Frame, the GSCA’s annual membership directory plus discounts for additional copies purchased. Membership includes a free listing with photo or logo. The annual directory is used extensively in the industry to showcase its uniqueness.

FILM
LOW AND NO-CHARGE SCREENINGS: Present your new giant screen film, film in production, rough cut, short, or film in development to delegates at the GSCA International Conference and Trade Show and at the GSCA Film Expo, which are the largest gatherings of industry decision makers.
COMPLETE ONLINE LISTING OF FILM, TECHNOLOGY AND EXHIBITORS: Access an online listing of all new films, films in production, films in development, conference technical session review, and trade show exhibitors.
SURVEY RESULTS: Receive confidential survey results of films in production and films in development presented at the GSCA International Conference and Trade Show. Results summarizing reactions to films are collected from both film buyers and general delegates.
AWARDS: Eligibility for the prestigious GSCA awards that annually recognize best film, sound, score, cinematography, lifelong learning, theater marketing and more.
RESEARCH
THEATER ATTENDANCE REPORTING: This program allows theaters to confidentially input monthly theater attendance on a secured area of the GSCA website. Members are able to access cumulative reports that contain data averages as a whole or based on particular criteria. This ongoing statistical analysis allows participating theaters to access and review reliable trends for theater attendance in a secure environment for benchmarking and internal reporting.
INDUSTRY DEVELOPMENT STUDY: Participate in the GSCA Industry Development Study. Findings of the study will be available to GSCA members complimentary when the study has been completed.
VIEWER AND NONVIEWER RESEARCH STUDY: This research program completed in 2003 gathered comprehensive information about current and likely giant screen consumers. With this information GSCA members, including filmmakers, film distributors, and theater owner and operators can work to build the industry’s audience base. This survey is available complimentary to GSCA members.
ECONOMICS OF GIANT SCREEN FILMS: The industry’s only economic impact study covering the financial model for the production and exhibiting of educational giant screen films. This study is available complimentary to GSCA members.
OTHER RESOURCES
STAFF: Professional support from GSCA staff to help use the strengths of the association to navigate through the industry and make connections. Utilize staff to locate a distributor’s contact, confidentially search for position leads within the industry, or get a referral for an expert in the industry. GSCA is a member-driven organization with a professional staff to formalize the association’s operations.
GOVERNANCE: Serve on one of seven active committees that help shape the association and industry.
