The GSCA's Core Purpose:
To advance the business of producing and presenting educational giant screen and immersive cinema experiences globally.
 
BIG Goal
Facilitate relationships between filmmakers, distributors and exhibitors to advance high quality, entertaining and educational content’s availability and successful exhibition.
 
Goal 1 - Participation
GSCA membership will include significant representation in both the educational giant screen and immersive cinema industry.
 
Objectives
  1. Identify and establish appropriate industry alliances.
  2. Increase services and global outreach to existing and potential member segments.
  3. Increase industry participation within each member category to include all decision makers.
 
Goal 2 - Promotion
The GSCA will be the primary information and knowledge resource for the educational giant screen and immersive cinema industry.
 
Objectives
  1. Increase awareness of GSCA as the resource for industry information.
  2. Increase GSCA and the industry’s visibility at similar conferences and film festivals (ASTC, AAM, IAAPA, ShowEast, Jackson Hole)
  3. Establish mechanisms to collect and share information with respect to production, distribution and exhibition.
  4. Review and encourage research on the impact of the giant screen format on learning.
  5. Provide tools to help members differentiate giant screen presentations as the premier cinematic experiences.

The GSCA will support and promote the highest quality standards so that educational giant screen and immersive cinema experiences will be recognized as premier cinematic experiences.
 
Objectives
  1. Develop quality capture standards for educational giant screen and immersive cinema experiences.
  2. Encourage theaters to maintain the highest presentation standards.
  3. Improve stakeholder awareness of the quality parameters of the entire giant screen customer experience.
