November 10, 2011—The Board of Commissioners of the Saint Louis Science Center is pleased to announce the hiring of Bert Vescolani as president and chief executive officer. The announcement was made following a ten-month, nationwide search. Vescolani replaces Douglas R. King, who resigned from the Saint Louis Science Center in December 2010.

October 27, 2011--IMAX Corporation today reported third quarter revenues of $67.5 million, up from $51.1 million in the year ago period. Adjusted net income was $11.0 million, up from $9.8 million. Adjusted earnings per diluted share were $0.16, up from $0.15 per diluted share. Reported net income was $8.4 million, up from $6.7 million. Reported earnings per diluted share were $0.12, up from $0.10 per diluted share. Adjusted EBITDA was $21.3 million, up from $17.3 million. Opry Mills Stadium 20 & IMAX replaces the original Opry Mills theater, which was destroyed during a devastating flood in 2010. The official grand opening will be Friday, November 18, with first-run features including Twilight: Breaking Dawn Pt. 1 and Happy Feet 2 in IMAX 3D.
