October 1, 2008--DreamWorks Animation SKG Inc. today announced that the sequel to its worldwide hit Kung Fu Panda is expected in theaters on June 3, 2011. The company also anticipates releasing the film into IMAX theaters worldwide. The sequel to Kung Fu Panda, like all DreamWorks Animation feature films starting in 2009, will be produced in stereoscopic 3D technology.

September 29, 2008--GSCA received the following statement from our friends at Moody Gardens in Galveston, Texas, which was devasted by Hurricane Ike earlier this month: Moody Gardens received minimal damage and housed the Center Point Energy crew to restore power back to the Island. September 24, 2008--The Chrysler Foundation and Detroit Science Center celebrated the grand reopening of the newly renamed and renovated Chrysler IMAX Dome Theatre on Saturday, September 20. The renovation includes a new Chrysler IMAX Dome Theatre entry sign; an LED cove lighting system to provide increased illumination, dramatic pre-show special effects and significant energy savings. Also, a new rear projection booth was installed to increase stage lighting and staging for a new video projector while replacement carpeting was incorporated in the front and rear lobbies, among other additions.
