 July 5, 2011--Aerial director of photography David B. Nowell, ASC recently took Pictorvision’s Eclipse into the air to capture stunning 3D footage that simulates the feeling of a real air race. The Eclipse footage is now being integrated into 3D footage shot by Vern Nobles Jr. for a 38-minute IMAX feature called Air Racers 3D, an in-depth exploration of the fastest motor sport on Earth, at the annual Reno National Championship Air Races & Air Show. Agreement Means 2 IMAX 3D Movies Will Play at Celebration Cinemas |
 July 5, 2011--An agreement between two movie studios Tuesday will let the fans of Transformers in West Michigan see it in IMAX 3D. The third movie in the franchise is releasing in theaters during the IMAX run of Cars. Because of that IMAX theaters around the county had to choose between the two. Documentary of Heroic Haiti Relief Inspires |
 July 5, 2011--The Air Force Academy does not offer a course in natural disasters. Still, when a massive earthquake stuck Haiti in January 2010, Air Force personnel were among the first on the ground, delivering supplies and search dogs and ferrying refugees to safety.
