March 15, 2012—IMAX Corporation and Cine Star Cinema Pakistan today announced a sale agreement to install three digital IMAX® theater systems into new construction projects in Lahore, Islamabad and Karachi, Pakistan, beginning in 2013. The deal marks IMAX's first commercial theaters to open in Pakistan and brings the total number of IMAX® theaters open or contracted to open in the Asia Pacific region to 303.
