“Grand Canyon Adventure audiences tell us repeatedly that they feel like they are literally on the Colorado river experiencing the rapids, and this is in no small part due to the brilliant sound work of Andrew DeCristofaro and the sound editing team,” said Greg MacGillivray, the film’s producer and director. “Every splash you hear, every ripple in the water, comes alive because of their outstanding sound effects.”
“Grand Canyon Adventure is such a visceral ‘you-are-there’ giant screen experience that every sound you hear in the movie is magnified,” said Andrew DeCristofaro. “Our job was to make sure that every sound effect enhanced that experiential feeling for viewers.”
Grand Canyon Adventure is narrated by Robert Redford and features songs and music by Dave Matthews Band. Set on the iconic Colorado River, Grand Canyon Adventure takes viewers on an unforgettable river journey while calling attention to global freshwater issues.
