December 18, 2014—3D Entertainment Distribution and N3D LAND Films are delighted to announce that D-Day: Normandy 1944 was honored with two Lumiere™ Awards–Europe from the prestigious International 3D & Advanced Imaging Society (I3D&AIS) for Best 3D Documentary and Stereography–Animated during the recent sixth 3D Stereo Media summit held in Liege, Belgium. This brings the current total to an impressive 9 awards for the film.

Every year, the I3D&AIS recognizes outstanding member achievement in the 3D Creative Arts and Technologies at its top-tier 3D Awards events. This marks the second time the Society has recognized N3D LAND Films, following its Best 3D Documentary award win for Sea Rex: Journey to a Prehistoric World in 2012.

In addition to the two Lumieres, D-Day: Normandy 1944 continues to wow audiences around the globe, garnering top prizes at the following film festivals:

  • Grand Prize, Dimension 3 Festival (Paris, France)
  • Feature Film Grand Prize, 3D Korea International Film Festival (Seoul, Korea)
  • Best Documentary–Short, 3D Image Festival (Lodz, Poland)
  • Best Film for Lifelong Learning, Best Original Score, Best Sound Design and Best Visual Effects, GSCA Achievement Awards (Toronto, Canada)
