Attendee List and Hotel Reservation Scam Warning
If you receive emails claiming to offer the GSCA attendee list or offering to book your hotel rooms through their company at supposedly significant discounts, it's a scam. We get them too. Unfortunately, this has become a common occurrence for all events and conferences in recent years. You can be assured the GSCA database and server have not been compromised. Scammers scour websites and collect addresses from website links and social media. GSCA is not affiliated with these organizations, does not sell its registration lists, and does not authorize any third party to distribute or sell attendee lists.
If you are contacted by a company claiming to have access to a GSCA attendee list or offering to book your hotel reservation, do not click on links or respond to their message, and do not unsubscribe to the messages. This just informs the sender that your e email address is active, which will usually result in additional unwanted email. Mark the emails as spam and block the sender.
