GSCA Achievement Awards Program and Reception—$15,000
It’s the biggest
night of the year for Giant Screens! On the first night of the conference we
recognize the “best of the best” in our industry with the GSCA Achievement
Awards. This year’s event will start with the awards presentation ceremony,
followed by a reception at the host hotel. Sponsors of this evening get
high-profile recognition before, during, and after the event. Banners, a
printed event program, your logo on the screen, and the opportunity to speak to
all delegates during the presentation are just a few of the great benefits of
sponsoring this event.
The GSCA delegate bag
is a smart investment. Delegates use them throughout the conference and for
many years to come. Work with GSCA to brand your company on the biggest
take-home item of the conference.
Sponsor the session
that brings leaders and innovators of new giant screen developments to the
conference. There’s always great attendance at this session from your target
Member Meeting Luncheon—$10,000
It will be a long
morning in professional development sessions, and delegates will be hungry for
a hearty lunch. We know from past experience that meals are important to this
group, and we will work with you to design a memorable lunchtime event.
Networking is one of the most valuable aspects of the conference, and
time to socialize is precious at GSCA events. Host a reception to bring
delegates together, provide them with some much-needed hors d’oeuvres and beverages
after a long day of screenings and sessions, and get them talking about your
latest film, product, or service.
Dome Day Luncheon—$8,000
A packed schedule
awaits delegates during Dome Day at Science World British Columbia in Vancouver. This sponsorship
allows you the opportunity to address the group during the lunch and provide
Trade Show Cocktails and Hors D’oeuvres—$8,000
Greet your colleagues
with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at this late-afternoon trade show on day three
of the conference. This group travels on its stomach, and they don’t miss a
meal—or a drink! With great giveaways—including a conference registration,
which they must be present to win—cocktails, and buffet tables laden with
delicious hors d’oeuvres, your target audience will have many incentives to
stay and wander the trade show floor. We can theme the cocktails and hors
d’oeuvres to align with your vision and cook up some signature dishes to reflect
your product’s theme. Use this opportunity to meet and greet your customers
Historically known as
the “Distributors’ Party,” this event is always memorable and one that
delegates look forward to the entire conference! Headline this event and your
company will be the talk of the town.
Lanyards and Name Badges—$8,000
Not only do delegates
wear their lanyard and name badge every day at the conference, this noticeable
item is featured in nearly every photo taken at the conference. Customize these
items with your company or film name, logo, or any special design or coloring
you choose. Personalization possibilities are endless.
First-Timer and New Member Reception—$8,000
A major strength of
our industry is the sense of community but being a first-timer can be a bit
overwhelming. The First-Timer and New Member Reception allows newcomers to meet
and mingle with their mentors, as well as GSCA Board Members and staff, as part
of the GSCA Mentor Program. This event is one that is always well attended and
rated extremely useful by attendees. Career-long business relationships are
forged during this reception, and you’ll have a hand in developing those
relationships as the event sponsor. You’ll have the opportunity to address the
group during the reception, and you’ll receive a list of the first-time
attendees prior to the event.
Films in Production—$5,000
The films in
production session is always among the most
highly attended events at the GSCA conference. Theaters make future programming
decisions, filmmakers get feedback on their upcoming projects via film buyer
surveys, distributors make decisions on which films they want to represent, and
the entire industry wants to see what's in the pipeline. Your sponsorship gets
your message in front of one of the largest audiences at the conference.
Professional Development Sessions—$5,000
Professional Development Sessions are always well attended by a good
cross-section of delegates. Show your support of the GSCA’s continuing education
and development of the industry. Sponsorship does not allow input or direction
on the session itself, but the sponsor will be able to introduce the session
and speak to the delegates about your company’s contributions to the industry.
Hotel Key Card Sold! Thank you, K2 Studios
Get into every
delegate’s pocket and room at the conference with this unique approach to
corporate visibility. On average, delegates search for and look at their hotel
key no fewer than 10 times a day. Your logo will be printed on each delegate’s
key card. What better way to reach your target audience than to advertise on
one of the most important items they carry?
Registration and Information Desk Sold! Thank you, Stephen Low Productions
single attendee ends up at the registration and information desk during the
conference. It’s the conference gathering place. An area is devoted to
registering people and handling queries about the conference, both at the hotel
and at the theatre. Drape your logo over the door, play your soundtrack or
trailer on a loop, display your key art—the opportunities are endless.
The delegate list is
one of the first items delegates ask for when they arrive at the conference.
They turn to it over and over again, not only during the conference but
afterwards as well. Your logo appears on the cover and each page.
Conference Mobile App—$5,000
The mobile app has
been a huge hit at previous GSCA events. It gives delegates electronic access
to all the schedule information, session descriptions, film descriptions and
contact information, as well as instant updates if there are schedule changes
or other messages that need to be communicated. Brand your company’s
information throughout this mobile app.
This 5 x 7-inch
program is packed with film descriptions, contact information for distributors
and producers, professional development session descriptions, and trade show
information. If it’s going on at the conference, this is where you will find
it. Delegates refer to the program many times each day of the conference, and
each time they open it, they’ll see your logo on every page. Plus, you get a
full-page advertisement. Conference survey results tell us that most delegates
use the program for up to a year after the conference.
Delegates turn to the
pocket schedule over and over again to see what is happening next at the
conference. Your logo appears at the bottom of every panel, and the entire back
panel is devoted to your advertisement.
Caffeine is essential
during the long, event-filled days and nights of the GSCA conference. Perk up
your colleagues with a freshly brewed cup of coffee or two. There are several
ways to individualize this coffee bar: cup wraps, signature brew, tickets to
redeem a prize only available at the coffee bar, and more.
Notebook Sold! Thank you, BBC Earth
Everyone needs to
take notes throughout the conference, so why not have them use a pad with your product logo on it?
Lighted Pen—$3,000 (production not included)
Everyone needs to
take notes throughout the conference, so why not have them use a lighted pen
with your product logo on it? Film buyers taking notes in the dark
theater especially appreciate this item.
(production not included)
Tag your product and
company name to giant screen luggage from all over the world. Luggage tags are
a smart investment because they are used long-term.
Refillable Water Bottle—$1,500 (production not included)
This is an
environmentally friendly group, and water bottles are popular with delegates at
the conference and as an item to take back to the office. These items are
handed out when delegates register.
General Sponsor—$1,500 (multiple available)
If you are looking to
support the Association without a lot of fanfare, this is your opportunity. All
sponsorships further the Association’s mission, and you’ll be recognized on the
GSCA website and in the program as a supporter of the event. This investment
allows an item to be included in the conference delegate bag and an electronic
version of the delegate list prior to the event, as well as the final list
after the conference.
Conference Program Advertising
Program is the ultimate guide to the conference. Delegates refer to it
repeatedly during the conference and for years after. Get your advertising
message in the hands of the industry’s movers and shakers. Ad space must be reserved by June 28, and ad files are due July 19. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for further information.
