Kristen Bell to Narrate Upcoming IMAX Documentary Pandas

February 21, 2018—IMAX Corporation (NYSE: IMAX) and Warner Bros. Pictures today announced that Kristen Bell (Frozen, TV's The Good Place) will narrate the latest IMAX documentary adventure Pandas, a heartwarming global story about reintroducing captive born pandas to the wild. The film will be released in select IMAX® and IMAX® 3D theatres starting April 6, 2018.

America's Musical Journey, MacGillivray Freeman Films' Latest Release, Has Its World Premiere at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum

February 19, 2018—America’s Musical Journey, the new 3D documentary for IMAX® and giant screen theaters, held its world premieres on Thursday, February 15, at the Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum and Friday, February 16, at the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History. The movie opened globally on Friday, February 16, in select IMAX® and giant screen theatres with a roll out expansion planned throughout the year through the Fall of 2018 and beyond.

Amazon Adventure Wins Hollywood Lumiere for Best 3D Documentary Motion Picture

Cosmic Picture Launches Distribution Arm, Secures Rights to Nat Geo GS Film Library

February 1, 2018—Cosmic Picture announced today that it has launched a new giant screen film distribution company for museum and science center theaters. Cosmic Picture Distribution LLC will distribute a range of films, including a number of giant screen educational films from the National Geographic library, including award-winning documentaries such as Sea Monsters, Extreme Weather, Mysteries of the Unseen World and its own hit Jerusalem. Cosmic Picture Distribution will be helmed by Antonietta Monteleone, President of Film Distribution. Also joining the team will be John Wickstrom, Vice President of Film Distribution, and Melissa Rogers, Senior Distribution Coordinator.
