Galapagos 3D: Nature's Wonderland as part of the Perot Museum of Nature and Science First Thursday Late Night programming when the Museum stays open until 9 p.m. The screening will take place in The Hoglund Foundation Theater, A National Geographic Experience. Corwin, who narrated the film, also will participate in an audience Q&A and sign autographs immediately following the screening.

August 14, 2014—IMAX Corporation and Cinépolis, the world's fourth-largest cinema exhibition company, announced an agreement for three IMAX® theatres to be located throughout the United States. The first theatre will be added to the Cinépolis Posner Park complex in Kissimmee, Fla., with locations for the second and third theatres yet to be determined. The deal brings Cinépolis' IMAX commitment to 25 theatres and marks the exhibitor's first IMAX theatres in the United States.

This year’s saw more than 480 entries competing for 21 special awards. Finalists include a number of GSCA members, including American Museum of Natural History, BBC, Cosmic Picture, Day's End Pictures, Denver Museum of Nature and Science, National Geographic, Oxford Scientific Films, SK Films, Spring Garden Pictures, Spitz Inc., and Tangled Bank Studios.
