November 2, 2015—IMAX Corporation (NYSE:IMAX) and Twentieth Century Fox, a division of 21st Century Fox (NASDAQ: FOX), jointly announced the companies have entered into a long-term, multi-picture agreement. Marking the two companies' first joint multi-picture agreement, the deal includes future tentpoles from the Fox slate, including Deadpool, Independence Day Resurgence, Maze Runner: The Death Cure and the studio's untitled Wolverine project.

IMAX Corporation and Universal Pictures, a division of Comcast Corp., today announced that Jurassic World, the long-awaited next installment of the groundbreaking Jurassic Park series from Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment, will receive the widest-ever global day-and-date IMAX release, beginning June 10 in several international markets including China. Totaling more than 800 IMAX® theatres worldwide, the film's debut weekend comprises nearly 445 overseas IMAX locations, added to 364 IMAX playdates domestically on June 12. Jurassic World beats the previous day-and-date record-holder for IMAX—The Amazing Spider-Man 2—by more than 100 additional screens.
