Sept. 16, 2020, SALT LAKE CITY—Evans & Sutherland recently completed
the installation of Europe’s first ESX projection system at Omniversum,
a 300-seat Giant Dome Cinema in The Hague. The ESX digital display
replaces an existing 15/70 film projector with a multi-projector system
utilizing RGB laser projection.

February 12, 2020—Elevate Entertainment Inc., an affiliate of
Mirasol Capital, LLC, and Evans & Sutherland Computer Corporation, a leading producer of high-quality advanced
visual display systems, today announced that they have entered into a
definitive agreement for Elevate to acquire, through its acquisition
subsidiary, E&S for $1.19 per share in cash. The transaction is

May 2, 2019—Evans & Sutherland (E&S), the
inventor of computer graphics and the digital dome, announces DomeX: a
revolution in dome cinema display technology. DomeX incorporates LEDs directly
into the dome surface, turning it into an active video display.
February 5, 2019—Evans & Sutherland (E&S),
provider of Digistar, the world’s leading digital planetarium system, has
acquired 10 of the new Christie® D4K40-RGB RealLaser™ projectors
for its Dome Demonstration Center and for installation in the U.S. Space &
Rocket Center (USSRC) planetarium in Huntsville, Alabama.

May 30, 2018—The Giant Screen Cinema Association (GSCA) is pleased to announce Evans & Sutherland, in partnership with Christie Digital, will present their 8K digital cinema RGB laser system at GSCA’s Dome Day event on September 24 at McWane Science Center in Birmingham, Alabama. The E&S 8K dome system was chosen by the GSCA Technical Committee after a comprehensive request for proposal and selection process.

April 19, 2018—The China Science and Technology Museum (CSTM) has partnered with Evans & Sutherland (E&S) to provide visitors the opportunity to experience China’s first permanent True8K™ laser giant screen digital dome, which replaces a 1570 film system. Beijing’s CSTM has the largest planetarium and digital giant screen dome system in China.
