K2 Communications has announced production of two new fully
funded films. Angkor—The Lost Empire of Cambodia is produced by Helio
Projects Asia and will be distributed worldwide by K2 Communications. The film
will be written and executive produced by industry veteran, John Weiley (Antarctica, Solarmax),
and directed by Murray Pope. Filming begins in March 2018 and release is scheduled for October 2018. Shark Wars: The Ultimate Predator is directed by four-time Emmy® Award nominee
Leighton De Barros. The film will be produced by Sea Dog TV International,
executive produced by Jodie De Barros and David Gross and distributed by K2
Communications and K2 Films Australia. Filming starts in late 2018 with release scheduled for fall 2019.
May 25, 2017—Aircraft Carrier, directed by veteran IMAX-format filmmaker Stephen Low (Rocky Mountain Express, Fighter Pilot) and produced and distributed by K2 Communications and Giant Screen Films, held its world premiere at the Smithsonian National Air & Space Museum in Washington DC, on May 24. A public launch follows at the Smithsonian and in a number of other markets on May 26. Aircraft Carrier is a giant screen, immersive film packed with adrenaline-laced visuals and human stories that pay stirring tribute to the crucial role modern aircraft carriers play in maintaining the freedom of the seas, and keeping the sea lanes open for commerce.
December 22, 2016—K2 Communications and Giant Screen Films are pleased to announce that the 40-minute version of Aircraft Carrier: Guardians Of The Sea (wt) is confirmed for wide release into the giant screen and museum cinema market on Memorial Day weekend, 2017 (May 27-29). This large-format, immersive film is a stirring tribute to the modern aircraft carrier as well as the international naval air and sea support system vital to protecting the world’s oceans.

November 2, 2016—After careful review of large format distribution options, N3D Land has chosen K2 Communications to handle worldwide distribution of
D-Day: Normandy 1944. N3D Land opted to select a new distributor following incumbent distribution company 3D Entertainment's decision to have K2 handle distribution of their library.
September 28, 2016—After more than a decade of producing and distributing large format films, 3D Entertainment Films has built a substantial library of high performing titles. Productions include: Jean-Michel Cousteau’s Secret Ocean 3D, Dolphins And Whales 3D, Sharks 3D, Ocean Wonderland 3D, Kenya: Animal Kingdom 3D and Air Racers 3D. Their library was expanded to include distribution of the highly acclaimed Sea Rex 3D: Journey to a Prehistoric World co-produced by N3D Land Productions and Mantello Brothers Productions.
