October 22, 2015—Subaru of America, Inc., and Brand USA, the destination-marketing organization for the United States, have announced a global partnership in support of the new giant-screen, 3D documentary
National Parks Adventure, which will be released in IMAX® and giant screen theatres worldwide in February 2016. The film celebrates America’s Great Outdoors and the centennial of the National Park Service and is produced by Academy Award®-nominated filmmakers MacGillivray Freeman Films. As part of the partnership, the film will feature a short vignette from Subaru that promotes the importance of the national parks and the need to protect them.

America. The Beautiful. The series premiered August 9 on Travel Channel.
December 15, 2014—MacGillivray Freeman Films (MFF) today announced that two-time Golden Globe® nominee Ewan McGregor will narrate Humpback Whales, an underwater 3D adventure documentary for IMAX and other giant screen theaters directed by two-time Academy Award®-nominated filmmaker Greg MacGillivray (The Living Sea, Dolphins, Everest). The film, presented in association with Pacific Life, will be released beginning February 13, 2015.
April 23, 2014—In celebration of 50 years in the filmmaking industry, MacGillivray Freeman Films is proud to participate in the 15th annual Newport Beach Film Festival with two special events and will be honored by the Film Festival with a Lifetime Achievement Award for their work in film.
