February 13, 2019—On January 30, the
Advanced Imaging Society held its tenth annual Lumiere Awards ceremony at the
Steven J. Ross Theater on the Warner Bros. studio lot. Pascal Vuong
(co-director and producer of Planet
Power) stepped on the stage to receive the award for Best 3D
Documentary–International in company of US producer Christian Fry.
September 29, 2018—Giant screen and 3D film production company
nWave Pictures
has entered into a partnership with the MZM production group and Belga
Films to expand nWave’s brand and market reach. As part of the deal, MZM
and Belga have purchased a majority stake in nWave.
September 16, 2018—nWave Pictures has acquired the worldwide distribution rights to Feathered Dinosaurs, a giant screen 3D documentary film produced by Saint Thomas Productions. With its production freshly started, the 40-minute film will be released in 2020.
November 10, 2015—
Lionsgate has picked up US rights to 3D family adventure Robinson Crusoe from StudioCanal. The film will be released wide in the US by Lionsgate’s Summit Entertainment label in mid-2016 following StudioCanal’s European release. The animated film brings to life the true story of Robinson Crusoe in 3D as seen through the eyes of his quirky companions, including his parrot, Tuesday, who dreams of exploring the world. The film is directed by Ben Stassen and Vincent Kesteloot and produced by nWave Pictures.
May 12, 2015—nWave Pictures Distribution has launched a new website for their latest giant screen film,
