May 26, 2023—RedShark interviews cinematographer and inventor Pawel Achtel, ACS, about the ACHTEL 9x7 Digital Cinema Camera, which was specifically designed for IMAX, giant screen, VFX, and VR cinema productions. The camera uses a 9344x7000 sensor (hence the 9x7 brand name) with true correlated double sampling to be able to resolve up to 18,688x14,000 (260 Megapixels) resolution. In the interview, Pawel shares the history of the 9x7, technical specifications, and how it's being used.

May 20, 2016—Underwater camera guru Pawel Achtel has won a Golden Tripod at this year’s prestigious Australian Cinematography Society ceremony in Adelaide, Australia. His short film production
Sea of Love, shot in giant screen quality, was awarded the Ron Taylor AM ACS Award for Wildlife and Nature films.
