Jersey City, New Jersey, is the largest and most technologically advanced
planetarium in the Western Hemisphere, thanks to Digistar 6, a groundbreaking True8K™
display system, and a NanoSeam dome. The theater represents the state-of-the-art digital projection
technology and scientific visualization from Evans & Sutherland (E&S) and
seamless dome screen technology from Spitz.
September 22, 2017—Evans & Sutherland (ESCC) introduces AEOS Theaters, a groundbreaking new alliance between E&S, Spitz, and Sonics2. The companies have joined forces to create a new generation of ultra-high resolution giant screen cinema experiences for immersive domes and giant flat screen theaters.
