Viva La Blanca Paloma brings audiences to a small village called El Rocio in the Huelva district of Spain where, during Pentecost every year, thousands of pilgrims gather from across Spain. They join to meet the Virgin they call the Blanca Paloma, or White Dove, of El Rocio. The pilgrimage is a holiday and a celebration. The traditional costumes, the music, the dancing, and the feasting all combine in a brilliant display of Spanish culture.
