Museum of Discovery and Science President Kim Cavendish to Retire at the End of 2017

Ontario Place Cinesphere IMAX Theater to Reopen

October 26, 2017—The Ontario Place Cinesphere will soon be back in action as a full time IMAX movie theater. Spokane's Riverfront Park IMAX Set for Demolition in November

October 19, 2017—The Riverfront Park IMAX building in Spokane, Washington, will come down in November, readying the park for its next phase of construction. The decision to demolish the IMAX theater came in September 2016, but its fate had been discussed for years. A master plan for the park’s redevelopment, agreed to in 2014, called for closing the IMAX because of declining revenues.
