A short film based on the book Streets of East London by Professor William Fishman, East End looks at the lives of a few residents in the East End of London. It focuses on the creative and private pursuits of descendants of immigrants and touches dramatically on the notorious turbulence of the late 1800’s, which still informs the culture of the neighborhood. East End is a small painterly record of a few people’s lives in the Spitalfields areas of London.
