The Giant Screen Cinema Association (GSCA) is reviewing the structure and content of its annual conference to ensure it delivers maximum value for theaters, distributors, producers, and related businesses.

We are inviting feedback from across the giant screen universe. Your responses will directly inform decisions around screening formats, professional development, trade show components, and how GSCA manages increasing content volume within a single annual conference.

The main GSCA conference dates are confirmed and will remain May 19–21. Because GSCA consistently receives more film content than can be accommodated within those three days, we are exploring whether additional programming before or after the core conference dates could help address that volume. The purpose of this survey is to gather input on how best to handle that additional content while keeping the main conference dates unchanged. We recognize that the May 19–21 timing falls between Victoria Day (Canada) and Memorial Day (U.S.), and that travel, staffing, budget, and visa considerations vary globally. Understanding these constraints will help GSCA plan responsibly.

The survey should take approximately 8–10 minutes to complete and will remain open through Wednesday, January 28. Respondents who complete all required questions will receive a $25 USD discount toward registration for the 2026 GSCA Conference.

More information, including registration, film and award submission, hotel and travel information is available here. We look forward to seeing you in Los Angeles in May, 2026!

Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective. Your input is essential.
