CINITY recently installed a CINITY LED theater at the Avatar production base in Wellington, New Zealand

On October 30, 2025, a China Film Group CINITY team visited the site to demonstrate the CINITY LED exclusive mastering version for director James Cameron and the Avatar 3 production team.

After watching the demonstration, Cameron enthusiastically praised the CINITY LED system, confirming the mastering parameters for Avatar 3 and stating that all future Avatar films will require CINITY LED mastering versions. He also expressed his eagerness to visit China in December at the invitation of Mr. Fu Ruoqing, Chairman of China Film and founder of CINITY, to attend the premiere of Avatar 3 using the CINITY system. During his visit, Cameron hopes to experience the newly-launched CINITY LED fully transparent sound system, which complies with the CTP 1.4.3 of DCI that has achieved several “world firsts” and will be installed in the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum 3D giant screen theater by the end of November.

After the screening, Cameron is now considering purchasing the CINITY LED system for use at his New Zealand production base for ongoing Avatar film production, mastering, and review. He said the system would also serve as a platform to introduce and promote CINITY LED technology to directors and film professionals worldwide.
