Santa Barbara, CA (June 12, 2025). Cosmic Picture announced today that Marc Summers (Nickelodeon’s Double Dare, Food Network’s Unwrapped) will be narrating the upcoming documentary, Wild Rescue, premiering in IMAX® and giant screen theaters beginning June 27, 2025. The official Wild Rescue trailer also debuted today.
Produced by Tandem Stills + Motion, Inc., Wild Rescue follows the inspiring journey of animals given a second chance at a wild life. Based on the work at the Santa Barbara Wildlife Care Network, this uplifting film follows the dedicated teams who rescue, rehabilitate, and release injured and orphaned wild animals.
“I have always been fascinated with those amazing people who care for wildlife,” said Marc Summers. “You will learn about their special abilities and their heart. Everyone’s relationship and responsibility to animals in the wild will become more apparent after watching this beautiful look at nature.”
“Marc brings a familiar, warm voice to an important film about compassion for the wildlife anyone can relate to – those found in every backyard. I am honored that Marc brings this film to life, and just like his illustrious career, he will unite generations of audiences,” said Wild Rescue Producer and Director, Ian Shive (Hidden Pacific 3D, Discovery+ The Last Unknown).
From the arrival of a fragile bobcat to the rehabilitation of a young fox evacuated during a wildfire, explore hospital admissions, groundbreaking medical treatments, and the delicate balance of wildlife care. With breathtaking cinematography and heartwarming moments, Wild Rescue reminds us that every creature deserves a second chance — and that hope is worth fighting for.
“We’re thrilled to bring Wild Rescue to museum theaters around the world,” said Taran Davies, CEO of Cosmic Picture. “This is an extraordinary film – visually stunning, emotionally powerful, and deeply inspiring. We believe audiences of all ages will be moved by the stories of resilience and reminded of the incredible impact we can have in the lives of our wild neighbors.”
Wild Rescue was filmed using the latest Red Digital Cinema camera systems, including the Red Raptor VV X, the film team captured breathtaking detail and dynamic range, enhancing every visual element for an unparalleled cinematic experience.
