Mission Partners Entertainment Group (MPEG) and Max McGraw Wildlife Foundation are proud to announce Treasures of the Everglades, a new giant screen documentary exploring the ecological wonders and rich biodiversity of Florida’s Everglades. Internationally renowned filmmaker Mike Slee (Giant Screen hits Flight of the Butterflies and Amazon Adventure) will direct, bringing his decades of storytelling experience. Currently in pre-production, the film is slated to release worldwide in 2028.

The Everglades is a unique landscape, unlike any other in the world. Only the Everglades combines a subtropical climate, a variety of distinct habitats, and an incredible diversity of species in one extraordinary ecosystem. Treasures of the Everglades will celebrate all that this remarkable place has to offer—from its waters and wildlife to its vibrant, interconnected habitats and much more.

“The Everglades are not just a Florida treasure; its international significance is on the order of the Amazon and the Serengeti. When people see this film and step inside the immersive experience of the giant screen, they’ll come to know the value of this wetland like never before. The vision to save the Everglades is a generational gift the magnitude of which cannot be overstated,” explained Slee.

“We are thrilled to have Mike Slee direct Treasures of the Everglades,” added Antonietta Monteleone, CEO of Mission Partners Entertainment. “His extraordinary ability to craft cinematic experiences that blend science, beauty, and emotion makes him the ideal visionary to bring this incredible natural wonder to the big screen.”

Chris Dorsey, Chairman of MPEG said: “Treasures of the Everglades is more than a documentary – it’s a call to action for conservation. With Mike Slee directing we’re not just capturing the beauty of a world-renowned ecosystem; we’re crafting a cinematic experience designed to move hearts, ignite conversation, and inspire action across the globe.”

“The Everglades is one of America’s greatest natural treasures. This film will shine a light on its beauty, complexity, and the urgency of safeguarding it for future generations.  We are proud that the film is being supported by our lead corporate partner, Uline. Without their support we could not make this film,” stated Charles Potter, President and CEO of Max McGraw Wildlife Foundation.
