
Please consider the new NSF STEM K-12 program and solicitation NSF 25-545 (posted on August 22, 2025 and active). A few important details to know:
- There is no deadline.
- Brings together PIs who would typically submit to AISL, DRK12, CSforAll, and Translation & Diffusion.
- Anticipated award ranges: $25,000 and $750,000, with a typical duration of one to three years
- There will be a general overview webinar on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at 1:00 – 2:30pm ET. Registration is required at this link.

- There will also be a listening session for those with interest in media on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at 2:00pm – 3:00pm ET, Join here.

There are two other programs that may be of interest for your work. These programs are focused on STEM workforce development. They are awaiting new solicitations:
- Attention to K12 aged learners and innovative use of technology, ITEST 22-585
- Attention to hands-on learning for learners from nontraditional backgrounds, ExLENT 25-511
All submissions should take into account the updated NSF priorities and Gold Standard Science.
