FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE — STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN — October 8, 2026 — Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden attended the Swedish premiere of Ocean Dreams on October 6 at Cosmonova, at the Swedish Museum of Natural History in Stockholm.

Hosted by Voice of the Ocean and Deep Sea Productions, the event brought guests together to experience the film on Cosmonova’s IMAX screen. The screening featured the Swedish-language version, narrated by Therése Lindgren.

The royal event marks a significant occasion for the film’s international rollout, following its launch on World Ocean Day in June. Produced by Deep Sea Productions and distributed worldwide by SK Films, Ocean Dreams combines immersive underwater cinematography with stories of marine resilience and recovery. Emmy Award Winner, Shailene Woodley narrates the English-language version.

Directed by Johan Candert, the film travels through extraordinary underwater ecosystems, revealing what can happen when they are given the opportunity to recover. Its hopeful approach offers giant-screen institutions a compelling platform for ocean education, conservation conversations and community programming.

Ocean Dreams is endorsed by IOC-UNESCO as a UN Ocean Decade Action. Its Swedish public opening follows on October 24 at Cosmonova in Stockholm and Universeum in Gothenburg.

The film is available in 43- and 23-minute versions, with formats including IMAX Digital/Laser, DCI-compliant digital and digital dome.
