In 2018, Discovery Place in Charlotte, North Carolina, partnered with 250 STEM leaders to provide 2,500 experiences to expose 250,000 guests to the wonders of STEM. It all started with a rough-cut screening of the film Dream Big, which sparked the idea to not just show the film but to have a “year of the engineer,” with all forms of programming centered around engineering. In this webinar, you’ll learn how Discovery Place’s divisions all worked together to create this award-winning program and how you can apply the same principles to develop your own programs to extend giant screen learning and enhance the visitor experience.

This webinar was hosted by GSCA on January 22, 2019, presented by Joanie Vandenberg Philipp, and moderated by GSCA staff Tammy Barrett and Kelly Germain.
