May 6, 2019—Great Barrier Reef was recently awarded “Best Creativity Film” in the Science and Technology category of the Beijing International Film Festival, which is held at the China Science and Technology Museum. April 4, 2019— As part of the Walk Bridge replacement project, Connecticut's Maritime Aquarium IMAX Theater will be taken down and replaced with a new 4D theater. The theater's replacement is part of the Maritime Aquarium Functional Replacement Project, wherein the state will functionally replace what is taken at the facility as a result of the Walk Bridge project.
