Birmingham's Giant Screen Cinema at Millennium Point Has Closed

January 9, 2015—Birmingham's Giant Screen Cinema has closed down with the loss of 11 jobs. The final performance of The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies was watched by 108 people at 7.45pm on January 5 before the cinema’s 70ft 6in x 41ft screen closed without fanfare. Two Episodes of Game of Thrones to Screen in IMAX Theaters

January 6, 2015—The final two episodes of last year's fourth season will screen on IMAX screens beginning Jan. 23, and will be followed up by the first season five teaser.
