The Universal Cinema AMC IMAX Theater at CityWalk, the Hollywood Gold Theater, and the Hilton Universal City are the official venues for the event. It’s 1/2 mile and a 15-minute walk between the IMAX theater and the Hilton Universal City hotel. The Hilton also offers a shuttle between the hotel and CityWalk that leaves about every 15 minutes. A bus will be available to take Filmmaker Symposium attendees to the Hollywood Gold Theater.

Travel tip!
The Burbank Airport (BUR) is much closer to the Film Expo venues than LAX, meaning a shorter and less expensive ride from the airport to the Universal Hilton.
Please check in at the GSCA registration desk before you attend any screenings or sessions to get your name badge and attendee materials. The GSCA registration desk will be set up at various locations during the event, depending on each day’s schedule. GSCA staff and volunteers are available at the desk to get you checked in and answer any questions you may have.
The dress code for the conference is business casual. Wear comfortable shoes for the walk between the theater and hotel. We also recommend bringing a sweater or jacket and dressing in layers. The theater and meeting rooms tend to be a bit cool.
Most meals are on your own, except for the receptions (check the schedule for times). There are many restaurants nearby at CityWalk, and you will find a list of open venues here.
